Finzbury Park Mosque had its account closed by HSBC and then couldn't open another account. It discovered that it had been flagged by one of these risk databases, Thompson Reuters financial risk - which later became World Check Risk Management. The mosque was able to secure an apology and then £10,000 in damages for being labelled a 'politically exposed person' But lots of people are finding themselves flags on these databases.
