The Effect of Breastfeeding Support on Cognitive Outcomes of Children

The study was published in July of this year in the American Economic Journal. Emla Ester's work isn't the final word but it gets us closer to some clearer answers about breastfeeding and its potential to address larger issues like equity. Ultimately though, we need to be supporting moms more if they want to breastfeed for any reason.
