The Antithesis of What One Thinks University Is For
It seems ridiculous that philosophy or that means of operating could infiltrate the university. The antithesis of what one thinks university is for. It's precisely because there are academics that they were better at writing to was morally fashionable. So you have a bunch of people who are defending the dominant moral orthodoxy. That's how you get the wide scale adoption of that. They're not questioning, and there's a reward mechanism in place. You get a job for life.
