James camb's cabin mate disagreed with a crucial detail in cam's version of events. Cam had claimed he was in bed by 12 forty five, but his fellow crew member had retired one a m and cam was nowhere to be seen. He didn't have any bruises or strange marks, but the doctor did notice some light scratches on his left shoulder and wrist. These looked old, as though they'd been there for a few days.
