The Argument for Freedom of Movement in Britain
There were two principled arguments for freedom of movement which are both incredibly difficult to make in Britain. One is something like Europeans prefer Europeans because we're all European, which depends on you feeling quite strongly European. The other one is why don't we say to people it's not immigration at all? It's just internal, citizen, mobility. But I don't think we should start saying that. There was another good case that actually most black and Asian people who voted voted remain in the end.
