The Amtrak Accident

In the state of North Carolina, any town called Stateville, in a bridge named Boston's Bridge. The Richmond and Danville number nine left State's full pulling six cars,. including a first-class coach, a second- class coach, a Pullman sleeper, and the private railcar. Estimates were that the train was traveling at 35 to 40 miles an hour when it caromed off a 60-foot high five-span brick structure. A sleeping car traveled 153 feet for the air before hitting the ground.
