Is the Gospel Enlightening?
Layton: The word of god and the gospel itself is enlightening us unto salvation. But then its es, it's the gospel that's enlightening people. It's not christ that's Enlightening me. Christ brings the gospel, he becomes incarnate. He lives his life. And so by those means, we are judged as well. So you're oryou're saying that jesus isn't enlightening by the means of the gospel. Is that what you're saying? Because i just read to you half a dozen verses that seem to indicate otherwise.
