In the movie Independence Day, aliens come and we put aside all our differences to blow up the aliens. Do we see this effect as well within humans? I think there's a way that silicon minds can improve themselves in ways that it's possible for us to learn more about biology. Maybe being total jerk's AI is the solution to all the racism and discrimination against like religion and creed and politics,. Right? We could hunt robots down and hurt them, right? Like as much as robots can feel pain. But if we're talking about thought experiments here, I think we need to think about whose sentience are we most concerned with.
