The Brocken Is the Highest Peak in the Hars Mountains
The brochen mountain has something called the brochen spectre, which is an interesting light phenomenon where a person's magnified shadow can be cast upon clouds opposite the sun's direction. The brocken is where witches would go for hexennacht, as they called it in bavaria. Witches would hold their sabbaths there. This point brings us back up into esoteric naseism territory to round out the episode. So the bracken is the highest peak in the hars mountains, and it has always held a unique position at every point in german history.
