What I Learned About Leadership Along the Way
I try to treat everyone as an adult. I don't hide things. It used to be if he had any kind of issues, I tried to protect people quote, unquote from it. And you find out very quickly that just not good. People actually do better job when they know and it's bad, but they don't. So rather than telling people what I like or then trying to guess how to please me, I really try to build frameworks around. But one of those is essentially promotions will be automatic. Essentially, you should be promoted every year until you can be promoted anymore. Meaning either you don't do your job well anymore, or there's nowhere else to go.
