HBO's decision to buy Warner Brothers discovery makes a lot of sense as an entity, but it probably needed to be in a much better financial situation. The company that I mentioned again and again that played this right along with Sony. They didn't try to build their own streaming service. But they've been the ballot the ball, getting paid tons and tons of money to sell their content to other services. It's actually harder building a successful at scale consumer internet company than Google or Facebook.
