The Importance of Perception in Art
The genius is able to perceive the idea in the particular in the object within the empirical realm. The job of an artist is to convey universal ideas to their people who is experiencing it yeah well I think that relates also to what we were saying earlier that he thinks of the genius as someone who's able to detach themselves from their individual will so they're they're perceiving more objectively than the rest of us.
