You Just Need to Sabbath
Next week we'll lay out a biblical theology of the sabbath. This is an ancient practice, long before the invention of the life style magazine atgoes all the way back. It actually predates jesus of nazareth and does not start with israel. The church has uncritically mimicked the rhythms of the industrial and success obsessed west. We love god deeply but don't know how to sit with god any more.
