The Utopian Solution for Shorting Stocks
We have not found the utopian solution for shorting the individual names. We took our experience and expertise on the managed futures side and we've taken a stock index futures overlay. By design, we are still able to go long or short. We think it's a much more prudent approach than most long short equity funds which tend to have a net long bias anyway.
