The image of the tree is at the heart of your book. You describe it as an image of spiritual ascent. It's the solution to this wound that we're talking about. So can you sort of take us through that imagery? I was lucky enough to study the tree of life as an archetypal image in depth for my master's thesis. And so when I studied this image more, I really began to see this connection with many cosmologies and spiritual traditions.
