The Murders of Oji Zosin
The case languished for years, despite the amount of time and resources dedicated to solving it. And the murderer remained unknown, along with his true motive. On monday april ninth, two thousand one, three months after the murders, a stone oji zosin statue was found on the side of the road that ran alongside the sankawa river west of the meazawa family home. This type of statue is known to represent jeso bodazatta, a buddhist enlightened being regarded as the guardian of unborn, aborted or still born babies. Despite these efforts, no definite link was drawn between the statute and the crimes. Forensic examination of the statue uncovered nothing of significance
