The Disappointment of the Police
Shelley's mother, Shelley, arrives in Victoria the same day as we had said that Shelley went missing. She goes to the women's shelter expecting to see her daughter Emma. The staff then tells Shelley that Emma did not come to the shelter that night to stay the night. So they don't know she's officially missing at this point. They just know that she's not there and not welcome to stay thenight. And they can't give much information that much is amissable in court if we give Shelley the records. I just think that's kind of weird.
