There are so many great businesses that are very likely down forty or 50 % in somebody's portfolio to day, there's nothing preventing them from becoming centos. I won't say netflakes or amazon, because there may be some things there, but there's nothing that prevents them fromt into market beaters again. But don't let that hindsight prevent you from looking at your own portfolio to day and saying the same thing.
