Can Self Deceptions and Delusions Spill Over?

Like all self deceptions and delusions, these can happen not just at the idual level or the interpersonal level. They can happen o the level of groups, tribes, even nations and countries. But there are also ways in which these delusions can cause great good. You know, it's hard for most of us to think about nations as delusions. And i sometimes wonder if an anthropologist from another planet would find that this one species human being believes that we have the right to divide up this planet into a hundred and ninety different territories.
