The Cost of Living and the Budget Debt

We have over a two trillion dollar annual budget deficit in order to balance the books so that we stop burdening americans with even bigger debt which they have to repay with interest. So either we have to cut spending by a third thirty three percent cut in everything including social security and medicare and national defense. If you don't want to do that you can raise taxes it would take i think about a forty percent increase in taxes to balance the budget.
