Is Brexit a Symptom, Not a Cause?
The 2016 vote to leave the European Union opened up big divides among voters and within political parties. The Conservatives who've been in government for 12 years were driven by bitter internal conflicts. Labour Party has had its own problems with unity, lurching from the centre to the left. And back to the centre again. Do we need a serious person steering the country calmly and confidently to a better future? I think the answer to that is yes. It behooves each and every one of us to campaign with our utmost to ten o'clock tomorrow evening to persuade our fellow citizens that independence is the right road forward for Scotland.
