I think the everyday does fascinate me. But I think also that through the process of making a translation happens where the everyday becomes absurd because it's been made out of absurd materials which don't stand up to everyday use. So gradually the everydayness, the familiarity of it gets eroded and something else replaces that. That's really interesting. And one of the ways that that's really manifested in the work is through colour in the sense that you have often said that you draw colour from what you see around you. It's almost ready made colour. Yes, exactly. A very good way of describing it.
