The Limits of Artificial Intelligence

If we don't solve the safety problems first it's obviously going to be bad for us. If we're up against something more intelligent and it wants to get rid of us, it'll be in a way that we can't even imagine. It's within our power to decide whether we even want to build these things or not. And I'm very hopeful that conversations like the one that we're having now can help people appreciate that really a it's not in our interest to build the brush ahead with this technology.
