The film takes place on an island, but the backdrop is the Irish Civil War. Why did you do that? I think it just adds some kind of gravitas to the, to the simple story of a breakup. But I'm kind of interested to see how audiences feel about it. After the fact that kind of don't want to put too many ideas in their heads before they see it.
