G E Shares Drop by More Than 17 %
G e shares have fallen by more than 17% since the company announced a reverse stock split on May 4. The move is typically not a good sign, and usually happens to companies that are about to go out of business. G e before it's eight to one reverse split, was a higher dollar price an honeywell 20 years ago. JEFF: I don't know that this is particularly awful for g a. Mean, they've done some good things,. They've reduced debt loads, things of that nature. But idon't think the stock is particularly cheap here, and certainly shouldn't be running to buy it.
