What Does the Work Futile Mean?
A lot of people use the work futility to mean basically things we shouldn't do. But when you sort of start to unpack it like philosophically and ethically, it gets a lot more complicated. When people say an intervention is futile, they often mean that it would result in a quality of life that they don't think anyone would want. It's crucial to check those subjective assertions.
