"You have to actively update your book as a reader," he says. "People don't usually update their Kindle ebooks, right? They're not going to buy a new paper version just because you added a new link." He writes short books for busy managers and that's why it takes him less time than more of a manual. But republishing is like relaunching a new book from scratch, even though it retains the same title.
