The different materials require different thicknesses, right? So if you want to be ultra-conservative and have veneers that are a couple tenths of a millimeter at the margin and in the incisal third, three tenths, you need to be in the felt-spathic world. In my opinion, if I'm putting that little material on a tooth, maybe I should be just doing composite rather than indirect restoration. If you're layering lithium dissilicate, you can never violate the ratio of 50% veneer material over 50%.
