Dissent on teams and in the work place can be a good thing, it can broaden our perspective. Yet what asking people to do when they dissent is to go against the group with which they share this identity is risky. Some cultures are really great at dissent, and others are not. We have to crate cultures if we want to make people able to dissent without facing the back clash.
