We have a nist, which is an agency capableof of defining standards. We need set up standards, making standards mandatory. Build a security standards. It only gives a guide lines are not, not nearly specific enough to actually enforce any security. So that needs happen. But most importantly, we have to go to the open research regime,. Instead of having a private company hiring anote private company an doing a security reviewr or send review in private, engage and open a research community, make it public. I don't understand at all why a claim can be made that election systems are consisting trade secrets and secret specification. I thought the specifications called election war.
