Docker Hub Service Changes - What's Up With That?

Docker announced some pretty significant changes to their terms of service. After a certain amount of time, they will automatically delete your image from the hub. So this is upsetting a lot of people who don't frequently update their containers and carries what your thoughts are, Mike Dominic says. Michael Dominic: I have solved this problem in the most neck beard freedom way by simply hosting my own Docker container registry. It's great. Digital Ocean will give you a droplet for like 20 bucks. Wes Payne: The default retention time for free plans will be six months. If you don't push or pull within six months, they're deleting it. And then there's paid plans that have longer retention times
