The Wet, the Windy Side of the Jetstream
This is particularly wet for July. There's been some dry weather today. But generally, we are keeping the strength of the jet stream. And actually, this week, it's going to get a little bit worse on Wednesday. coastal gales along the south coast,. exceptionally windy for this time of year. Then we draw in a northerly wind means colder. That's going to be moving again southwards - so temperatures will be dropping below average. I think for much of the rest of the week, we will be high teens for most of the UK.
