The Redemptive Plan Is at Death's Door

In Exodus, all of Abraham's descendants who had found favor in Egypt are forgotten. The new pharaoh there has just moved on and in a terrible reversal of fortune the Israelites are now slaves. It looks like the redemptive plan is shot. But nope. God delivers the people using flawed leaders and miraculous signs that are assigned to all the people.
