McDonald Douglas Corporation - The Best of Both Worlds

Douglas and McDonald merged in 1967 to create the McDonald Douglas Corporation. This is a remarkably successful merger, it really is the best of both worlds. It sort of sets the blueprint for a lot of American manufacturing - you kind of you wed the civilian in the military in a way that like Lockheed Martin successfully able to do. And so within a couple of years of their merger all of this has turned around and they are ready to push their big new expensive dream project. Next slide, please.
