Elisa: We don't know everything about every moment of a person's life in scripture, including Jesus. And so if we can see how God was so intimately involved in the world and in each of these stories throughout scripture, then I think that we can safely know and feel confident that he was also intimately involved in parts of the story that we don't have a record of. "I grew up thinking when people would say God worked through someone or the spirit was at work," Elisa says. 'It doesn't remove the uniqueness of how God made that person'
