The Atheoretical Thing That Worked
The effect sizes generally tend to get smaller and smaller. We already have the lead on that because if one looks at the GWAS on human height, it's now into the millions. And we know that that's exactly what's happening is there are even more common variants with even smaller effect sizes. I wouldn't be holding my breath or any more suddenly to come along. But yeah, it's quite tricky.
