i felt this calling, and i thought, this is the formal structure that's going to be needed to help these families out. And so i was then able to work with these foundations for the next five years to really build up support programs That didn't exist for families of the fallen in our community. It wasn't because i wanted to start my own company, to bei was because i needed to get back to academia. I had to finish my ph d. A loved being an educator a and i also had started my own family. There are so many other military first responder communityes out there, and they deserve this just as much as our community does.
