The Dissatisfaction of the US Economy
On the topic of inequality, it does feel like there is this pervasive sense that the US economy is doing worse in many ways for a large chunk of the population. What do you think is driving that dissatisfaction? And then secondly, how do you go about messaging that the economy isn't that bad to the general population so that aliens don't feel the need to invade the planet to make us all feel better or worse? It's an interesting question. If you actually are asking about inequality, have risk events hurt lower income people more than higher income, that's actually not what the data says. The people at the bottom of the wage distribution have done a lot better than the average.
