The Origins of Gene Fauverst's Records
Dolphin paid a flat fee for his recordings, took all the publishing rights and wouldn't pay royalties. The idea was that they'd make records for Dolphin to build themselves a name,. then move on to a label which paid them reasonable amounts of money. Gene Fauverst's records were an example: Well, everybody's got money, and I don't have a dog. Every time I think about it, who you'll learn, I'll matter again.
