The Water System Shouldn't Have Failt
In two thousand one, resident chinde gainer voiced a familiar refrain: We shouldn't have to be living in these kind of conditions. But as far as jackson being in the richest country, it's not the wealth of this country that is most directly implicated. Having access to great wealth doesn't get you very far when it comes to the question of who bears responsibility for delivering basic services. The problem here is not just a question of cruelty to poor communities. It should just be seen as eplurbus unum.
