I think that in this culture, we have somehow told confused sexually confused young people like, no, yeah, you can be a male or a female. No, you will always be what you are, but you could try to become some grotesque palimitation of the opposite sex. When somebody sees a Dylan Mulvaney or anyone who's trying to imitate the opposite sex, there is an intuitive revulsion. You feel grossed out by it and you're right to. Part of why grooming is a necessary step for a sexual abuser is because people feel an intuitive discomfort with perverse sexual behavior.
