Gay and Lesbians in the Workplace
The first time I saw this poll question asked was in the early 1980s. It's how people answer the question you know do you have a friend family member co worker who's openly gay or lesbian. People are finding that there are gays and lesbians in their own house, on their own block and in their own workplace. That is the big driver of underlying a public opinion change on attitude towards gays and lesbians.
