A lot of times it just comes down to you thinking about what you could use in your personal life, build out those personal projects. That's what employers care about. You can build complexity on top of that. This fitness app, maybe you wanted to build a timer. Other timers say don't really do it a way that fits to your workout. Then people get stuck with, okay, well, Don told me to build this complex project. I built this. It's just a basic timer, but our employer is really going to care about it. Cool. Now let's think about how some of these other companies are taking these small, negative ideas and building a full fledged application
