The Effects of Smell on Parkinson's

A woman in Edinburgh noticed that her husband started to change his sense of smell when he developed Parkinson's. A clever medic said, let's come around the ward and have you sniff other people. And he found out that she was right nine times out of 10 - but on the 10th patient who got it wrong later had Parkinson's. The whole way of cooking on the moon is to bottle smells and to give them to people. They don't actually have any physical food, they inhale smells. So you get this burlesque explanation.
