What's Going On?

We were sitting at his mam's kitchen table and trying to calm down from whatever was happening. And we start to hear a clapping over by the pool where i heard the humming. We tried to reason in so many ways, like we were mentioning cards on the street, and like, nothing, nothing made sense. The more we started paying attention to this clapbing,. it getting closer to us from across this long distance... It got real close real quick, like re up on us.
