As soon as you feel that you're rushing, settle back. Take more care. Rushing doesn't always mean you're moving quickly. You can rush moving very slowly. Can you have the intention to be mindful of the really small things like movements of the hands? Are we really mindful of it? Or do we do it mechanically? The secret to samadhi is being mindful when you're in your room. It's difficult. Somehow we can even be walking very mindfully to the room and even opening the door and reaching and touching and pulling. I was like, we're safe. We're out of bounds or something.
