Is This Nathan the Prophet?

Nathan is the guy that when it came time for David to own to his sins, said you're the man. And usually when it refers to Nathan, it talks about like the prophet Nathan. I think this might just be Nathan. This whole thing comes across as a little bit scheming to choose actually a pretty mild word as to how this all works out.
