Advertising is its wonderful excuse to essentially to be curious, because pretty much anything you do can be of value. To use david ogleby's phrase, you can be an extensive browser in a variety ofields and everything you learn makes you better at your job. I was always reminded of genery bulmore, who is a wonderful kind of advertising doyen here in the u k. And i think there's an element where the fascinatingthing about working and advertising itself is you can draw from learnings in a whole variety of different fields. The debate about what length the book should be is always interesting. But i'm very, very pleased it maintained momentum to the end
