The Importance of Values in Politics

The importance of values, in having a set of beliefs that you hold as a community or as a country. I think it's partly lost to day because the way politics is conducted. And then if it becomes very devisive, i think,. i mean, i think the divisions i see, and i know we got some of our friends here in the united states, they are troubling.I hope that we avoid that here. There was a point at which we weren't avoiding it, and very nearly tipped into it a fully we can. It should be one of the values that you hold dear in democracy, that you do respect the people you disagree with, that you regard them as opponents
