If your polopian tubes are blocked, you're not going to get pregnant without i v f. For some people, if an egg gets fertilized, that has to be transferred into their body. If there's no freezing of embryos, there's also no preserving fertility for later. And then what about people who are autozomal recessive, carriers of a lethal genetic disease? They nead donor eggs. Is that permissible? The reality is we do not know. But those of us who understand how complex i v f is and how far we have come to make the process accessible can still improve it.
